This totem is a licensed reproduction of an original Haida argillite carving. This sculpture is made of a composite that simulates the look and feel of argillite. Argillite is a gray-black slate found only in Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands). A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this collection are given to the original artist of the Haida community.
